Värriö ykköseltä pohjoiseen lokakuun alussa - North of Varrio one fell in the beginning of October
Äärimmäisenä oikealla Nuorttitunturin huippu. Siitä etuvasemmalla, Kotovaaran männikössä näkyy Värriön tutkimuksen, ilmakehän hyviä ja pahoja hiukkasia mittaavan SMEAR-aseman havaintotorni. Kuva lokakuun alusta 2004, ruskan jälkeen.
Far to the right in the horizon the top of Nuorttitunturi fell. In front to the left there is the Scots pine dominated Kotovaara hill. On top of the hill there is the observation tower of SMEAR - research. It measures the good and bad (nano)particles in the air. Photo from the beginning of October 2004, when the ruskacolors are vanishing.
